The primary reasons for drafting this rule book are to promote safety,
affordability and competitiveness within the Dwarf Car Division.
We hope the
you realize there are very few affordable race cars left. By staying within the
scope of this rule book the Dwarf Car will
remain an affordable race car
division and we intend to keep it that way.
Please note the following are
“common sense” type rules. Our objective is to minimize rule changes. Do not
attempt to build a Dwarf Car
without first contacting WDCA for the rule
clarifications. If a car is built that does not meet the WDCA specifications, it
will not
be able to compete with the WDCA.
Note: The following rules are for the Dwarf Car division.
Interpretation of or amendments to these rules may be made at any time.
The
rules and/or regulations set forth herein are designed to provide for the
orderly conduct of racing events and to establish minimum
acceptable
requirements for such events. These rules shall govern the condition of all
events, and by participating in these events,
all licensees are deemed to
have complied with these rules. No express or implied warranty of safety shall
result from publications of,
or compliance with, these rules and/or
regulations. They are intended as a guide for the conduct of the sport and are
in no way a
guarantee against injury or death to participants.
THE AFFORDABLE RACING ASSOCIATION
To Dwarf Car Racers and Perspective Racers:
The reason for these rules
are so you can have a Dwarf Car that can be raced at any track that races Dwarf
Cars and be legal.
Dwarf Car rules have been tried an tested in many ways and
seem to be working very well.
One of our main goals is to keep a Low Dollar
Dwarf Car. Any rule change will be to keep it that way or for safety
reasons.
We also want to keep all Dwarf Car Owners and drivers working
together. In this way, we will make the Dwarf Car association on of
the
strongest racing
associations in the nation.
In order to do this,
you and everyone you know with a Dwarf Car will
have to have help.
